By using PlatePinch you agree to these terms. If you download the app from the Apple App Store, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

What PlatePinch does

PlatePinch suggests dinner recipes and a grocery list with estimated costs. Recipes are written by an AI system and costs are calculated from public US government average price data. Both are suggestions to help you plan, not guarantees.

Not medical or nutrition advice

PlatePinch is not medical or nutrition advice. Recipes are not checked by a dietitian. Diet filters such as vegetarian, halal, dairy-free or gluten-free are best-effort, so always read ingredient labels yourself, especially if you have food allergies, intolerances, celiac disease or a medical condition. Follow safe food handling and cook meat, poultry, eggs and fish to safe temperatures.

Prices are estimates

Estimated costs use national average prices from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the USDA Economic Research Service. Prices at your store, in your city and on the day you shop will differ. Items without official data are shown without a price. We are not responsible for any difference between estimated and actual spending.

Subscriptions

Some features need a paid subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription. Refunds follow the policies of Apple or Google.

Fair use

Plan and swap requests have daily limits to keep the service fast and affordable for everyone. Do not try to get around these limits, misuse the service or use it to break the law.

No warranty

PlatePinch is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, including meals you cook or groceries you buy.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Continuing to use PlatePinch after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions can be sent to contact@purplecompassdigital.com.
